Also known as divinity schools, theology schools are educational institutions meant to educate students in scripture, theology and to prepare them to serve as priests, teachers, professors, pastors, and clergymen after they’re conferred with their theology degree. The study of theology is generally part of history, part of anthropology, and part of philosophy. While students can opt for a diploma, a theology degree carries more weight and opens a lot of doors especially if you want to practice. As demand for this program grows, more schools are introducing it as part of their offered programs. You can obtain a theology degree through in-person classes or online.

The points earned for both ranking factors were then added together to get each school’s total score. In cases where there was a tie, the acceptance rate was also considered as a factor for ranking.
